The Look

Next-level shine. Like, hyper glossy, patent leather shine. So why is this a lip lacquer, and not a nude lip gloss? We were hoping you’d ask. Lip glosses are generally sheer, but our new Patent Lip Lacquer features one coat, full coverage color in a range of 20 nude shades designed for all skin tones. So, in essence, this is a high shine liquid lipstick.

The Colors

By now you may be familiar with the Gen Nude family. In case this is your first introduction… we’ve always been known as the complexion experts, but we don’t just use that expertise to create our mineral foundations. Our understanding of complexion and color has enabled us to develop a full range of nude lip colors (and now, a blush!) that’s dynamic, never flat and compliments your skin tone instead of washing it out. So new Gen Nude Patent Lip Lacquer comes in 20 colors (mauves, pinks, peaches and beiges) designed to flatter every skin tone.

Good-for-Skin Nudes

These lip lacquers wouldn’t be bareMinerals without – you guessed it – good-for-skin ingredients. The new formula is infused with moisturizing ingredients, including jojoba oil, algae and copper extract to help keep lips soft, smooth and hydrated under that fabulous shiny finish. The formula is also super lightweight and comfortable, and all that shine has a 3D effect that makes lips look fuller.

How to Apply Lip Lacquer

To make applying our rich, high-shine formula easy, we engineered a whole new applicator — and it comes right in the tube. Use the textured side to apply the color, then flip to the smooth side to perfect your glossy, mirror-like finish as needed. For even longer wear, you can pre-line your lips with Gen Nude Under Over Lip Liner.
