HOW TO DO (ALMOST) NOTHING
What’s the best thing that’s happened to us today? Absolutely nothing. And we must admit, we L.O.V.E. it. Today we’re celebrating the art of doing nothing. Care to join us? Here are six simple ways to embrace the nothing:
1. Some meditation
With so many things to focus on during the day, clearing just 15 minutes to focus on
nothing can do wonders.
2. A good stretch
Whether you’re sitting, standing or even running around all day, it’s a good idea to give those muscles a stretch. Besides improving flexibility and increasing blood flow in muscles, it helps us de-stress
after a long day.
3. A little yoga
This low impact form of exercise has a high impact on our life. It makes us stronger and improves
our energy. Namaste.
4. Sleep
Seems like there are not enough hours in the day for something so vital. Sleep helps us refuel our tank before we head out into the world.
5. Disconnect
When you turn off your phone, laptop and TV you get a wash of quiet, which is oh-so refreshing.
Power down, now.
6. Keep it bare
Beauty is not about wearing too much makeup, it’s about letting your natural self shine through.
